Organic Vineyard Floor Management – Weed Control
In Viticulture farmers have a constant worry on how to keep weeds out of grapevines, do organic vineyard management while forfeit weed killer. The best way to accomplish that is by using a mechanical hoe that can effectively do in row weeding. Our Hyd-Row-Hoe has several ways to accomplish this. First there is the hill up blade that protects the vine graft during the winter but also can be used for weed control. Other vineyard weed control attachments are: Ground driven rolling cultivator, Under-cutter blade, 3 tooth cultivators. Which one to use depends on how much a farmer wants to disturb the soil and the nature of the soil.
